About the Author

Steven Winer was born in St. Paul, Minnesota. He attended the University of Minnesota receiving his B.A. in Business and History. After a period in the Army Security Agency, he received his J.D. Law Degree, with Honors, from the University of Illinois at Chicago. After graduation from Law School, he returned to Minnesota to practice law for 10 years. Thereafter, following some of his clients, Steven relocated to Fort Myers, Florida, and practiced law until he retired in Estero, Florida in 2013 after 40 years of practicing law.

Steven met his wife in Fort Myers. They have been married for 31 years. Between them, they have 3 children and 6 grandchildren.

Steven enjoys his retirement by volunteering for the Lee County Visitors and Convention Bureau Visitors Services. He began writing fiction novels after he retired. His writing inspiration comes from his diverse experiences during the years he practiced law.
